Testimonial:

"I trained with Paul for 10 sessions spread out over about an 11 week period. Before working with Paul I had done quite a bit of gym work and was in fairly decent shape with a fairly good knowledge. But working with Paul has progressed me so far in a short time. My aims at the beginning of the personal training were; to reduce my body-fat, maintain muscle size and improve general fitness. I have seen great gains in all three areas in the 11 weeks. My body-fat dropped by a third, I now feel stronger and my fitness has improved greatly, as shown in the 30% reduction in my resting heart rate. I generally feel a lot fitter and healthier with the advice from Paul, especially the dietary advice, which was very in depth and helpful. I think the most impressive thing with the training was the techniques that Paul showed me with my weight training. I now feel that my exercises are performed spot on which helps me keep injury free. I would recommend Paul to anyone that is keen to become fitter, healthier and generally happy with their life. " - Ash Briggs

""I wanted to shift some pounds for my wedding next year and decided to get Paul to help. From the start he was enthusiastic and motivated me so much. Even on days when I was tired I found that with Paul's energy and motivation I could get an amazing work out. I have never enjoyed exercise that much before, but Paul made it fun, especially incorporating boxing into the workouts to tone up my arms. I had such a great time and have a much better outlook on exercise and weight management thanks to Paul. I toned up and lost 4% body fat. I would definately recommend Paul to anyone who is looking to tone-up, improve there fitness or lose a few pounds. He is fun and brings all of his positive energy into the workouts!" About The Trainer
Name: Paul Suggitt
Birthdate: 14/04/1983
Birthplace: Norwich
Current Location: Attleborough Norfolk
How long have you been working involved in the health & fitness industry? I started working as a fitness instructor for a golf club when I was 19, I moved to a busy city centre gym when I was 20 where I stayed for a couple of years. After a 2 year break I decided to become a Personal Trainer as this is what I love doing the most. I have now had my own business since April 2006.
Why did you choose this profession? I really loved helping people when I worked in the gyms, and wanted to take it further. PT is so much more in depth and more specific to the client therefore helping them more effectively. It is also very rewarding, knowing that you’re really helping the person get that body they always wanted. Being your own boss has its plus points too!
What do you feel is the best part of being a Personal Trainer? The part I enjoy the most is the benefit my clients feel when they train with me, and the feedback I receive from them-hitting our goals. When the client tells me that they feel great now they have either lost fat or look better. To hear that is very rewarding. There are also many benefits when working for yourself, the independence is very nice.
Hobbies and interests
What do you do to relax and unwind? I listen to music a lot, I feel it can be very uplifting when you need it but also relaxing too depending on what you listen to. I find all I am doing is recharging my ipod battery! I find going for a jog can be relaxing if I have a lot on my mind, gives me a chance to think. But the best is definitely chilling out with my mates, normally playing the xbox, or having a kick about.
Do you play any sport outside work? Yes, I wouldn’t feel comfortable training a client without previous experience of their sport so try to be adequate at most, I play football for a nearby town every Saturday, enjoy going for a decent run and enjoy a nice relaxing game of golf. I was playing a bit of netball with one of my clients so I could learn the moves to be able to train her better.
Can you cook? I love to cook, I used to work as a part time chef while I was at college, so picked up the basics
What food do you cook most? I like cooking all sorts and experimenting in the kitchen, but I like cooking up a healthy stir fry.
What’s your favourite drink? Red berry fruit smoothies
What type of music is your favourite? I am into all types of music, I find myself listening to rock music when running like, Oasis, Stereophonics, Foo Fighters etc but also love some dance or trance beats when instructing my circuits. Easy listening like Jack Johnson is always good to chill out to.
Who is your favourite actor? Will smith, I have watched the guy since the fresh prince days, he is just so smooth. A great role model too, he has to be the person I look up to the most-Not bad at making the odd classic tune either.
What is your favourite film? I never know what to answer to this as there are so many good films. I like british films, like 'Snatch'. 'The Pursuit of Happiness' and 'I am Legend' are up there too tho.
Sporting Background
Football I have played for various clubs in the past but I currently play football for Thetford Town FC. I play centre midfield and play in the Ridgeons league, it is a good level to enjoy football but also high enough to have that serious enough attitude to make it competitive too.
Squash, Running, Cycling, Tennis, Golf All these sports I like to play but this is only for fun. Golf is probably the most serious as all golfers know its not much fun when your having a bad day.
